ARA---------------------------fresh update has emerged regarding the high-profile Bharat Bhushan Tiwari encounter case in Bhojpur, causing a stir. Approximately 17 days after the incident, Tiwari's mother, Asha Devi, and sister, Nuri Devi, held a press conference stating that if the government does not consider their demands, they will embark on a fast-unto-death. It is worth noting that on June 17, Bharat Tiwari had surrendered and laid down his arms, yet he was subsequently shot by the police.

Seeking justice, the family has now given the government an ultimatum until July 8. The family has clearly stated that if their demands are not addressed and strict action is not taken against the guilty police personnel within the stipulated timeframe, they will be compelled to go on a fast-unto-death.

The family has demanded the immediate arrest of the officers and police personnel involved in the case. Prominently named among them are Jagdishpur SDM Sanjit Kumar, DSP Rajesh Kumar Sharma, SHO Rajesh Malakar, Ankit Aryan, SI Sachchidanand Yadav, and STF jawan Akshay Kumar.

According to the family, they will continue their protest until all these individuals are arrested. Bharat Tiwari's mother has demanded the death penalty (hanging) for the guilty police personnel. Political leaders continue to visit Bharat Tiwari's home; today, Sunday, Ashok Chaudhary—Bihar's Minister for Food and Consumer Protection—is also scheduled to meet the aggrieved family in Bilauti around 12:00 PM. During the press conference, the mother, Asha Devi, expressed serious concern regarding her safety. She stated that vehicles without number plates have been spotted near their home late at night, forcing the entire family to live in an atmosphere of fear. Additionally, the family members have demanded the withdrawal of false cases registered against innocent youths from the village. They allege that following the incident, 14 named individuals and 50 unidentified persons were implicated as accused.

Preparations are now underway to take the campaign for justice for Bharat Bhushan Tiwari to the national level. Family members will participate in a major signature campaign at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on July 17. Through this campaign, they intend to submit a memorandum to the President and the Prime Minister, demanding a high-level inquiry into the entire matter and the death penalty for the guilty. For now, all eyes are fixed on the July 8 deadline: will the officials involved in this case be arrested?
