BHABHUA----------------------------Today, Tuesday (June 16), Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary visited Kaimur for the first time since assuming office, where he gifted the district a series of development projects worth ₹196 crore. During his visit to Kaimur, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for 20 projects and inaugurated 40 others.

Upon arriving in Kaimur, CM Samrat Chaudhary first visited the Mata Mundeshwari Temple to offer prayers and seek blessings for the development and progress of Bihar. Subsequently, he inspected a 'Sahyog Shivir' (assistance camp) organized near the Mundeshwari Dharamshala and addressed a large public meeting.

On this occasion, CM Samrat Chaudhary made a major announcement, stating that tourist sites located in the Kaimur hills—such as Mundeshwari Dham, Tarachandi, Tutla Bhawani, and Gupta Dham—would be developed into tourism hubs. Helicopter services would also be arranged for pilgrims. Additionally, the Chief Minister announced the construction of an airport in the Rohtas-Kaimur region to boost tourism.

Regarding education, CM Samrat Chaudhary stated that a branch of BHU (Banaras Hindu University) would be opened in the district to promote education in Bihar. He announced that a model school would be established in every district and a degree college in every block, ensuring that the children of officials and politicians would also study in these model schools.

He noted that while children from Bihar previously had to travel outside the state for higher education, they would now be able to pursue it within Bihar itself. He also mentioned that the construction of a ropeway at Mundeshwari would begin after the monsoon season, making it easier for pilgrims to visit the shrine.

Furthermore, CM Samrat Chaudhary announced that solar power systems would be installed in the homes of 2.5 million women, with the government purchasing the generated electricity from them; he added that this initiative is already underway. These beneficiaries would be women from BPL (Below Poverty Line) families. Ministers Sanjay Singh 'Tiger' (Higher Secondary Education) and Jama Khan (Minority Welfare), along with local MLAs and the presidents of all NDA constituent parties, were present on the dais with the Chief Minister.
