ARA--------------------------Today, an extensive outreach and awareness campaign was conducted across all departments of Veer Kunwar Singh University under the leadership of research scholar and youth leader Kumud Patel. During the campaign, students and research scholars were apprised of the new regulations regarding the recruitment of professors, and the flaws and inconsistencies within them were discussed in detail.

It was highlighted during the campaign that the current regulations contain several provisions requiring amendment. Students and research scholars primarily demanded an increase in the maximum age limit for professor recruitment, greater weightage for PhD qualifications to properly recognize research and academic excellence, and the immediate commencement of regular classes and teaching activities across all subjects in newly established colleges.

Additionally, a demand was raised for recruitment to be conducted based on the previous policy.

Meanwhile, Sushil Tiger stated that this campaign would not be limited to mere awareness; the struggle would continue through democratic and constitutional means until necessary amendments serving the interests of students and research scholars are made. He called upon all students, research scholars, and the youth to unite and strengthen this movement, which is in the public interest.

A large number of students and research scholars participated in the campaign, pledging to raise a united voice for education, employment, and the overall development of the university.

Subsequently, a memorandum regarding the aforementioned demands was submitted to the Minister of Higher Education, Sanjay Tiger. Slogans were also raised in his presence after no positive assurance was received.

Research scholars Sushil Tiger, Chandan Tiwari, Jyoti Kumar, Monu Yadav, Raja Paswan, Shekhar Singh, Ratnesh Kumar, Rajnish, Rajan Kumar, Raj Pandey, Mukul Singh, and Piyush, among others, were present on the occasion.
