Intercity Train Extended to Badaun, Kasganj; Direct Delhi Link Boosts Connectivity
RNI : Badaun, April 13: The Bareilly–New Delhi Intercity Express (14315/14316) has been extended up to Badaun and Kasganj, improving direct rail connectivity to the national capital. Union Minister of State B.L. Verma flagged off the inaugural special train (05303) at Badaun railway station on Monday.

Addressing the gathering, Verma said the long-pending demand of the region has been fulfilled, offering a faster, affordable and convenient travel option to Delhi. The move is expected to benefit students, traders and daily commuters from Badaun, Ujhani and Kasganj.
Railway officials stated that the extension will enhance connectivity to key cities including Bareilly, Moradabad, Ghaziabad and New Delhi, opening up better opportunities for education, employment and healthcare.

Local representatives termed the development a “milestone” for regional growth, while railway authorities reiterated their commitment to improving passenger amenities under ongoing station modernisation initiatives.
