SASARAM--------------------------Deepak Kumar Mishra, District Magistrate (DM) of Rohtas, inspected the skill development training programs and available facilities at the Punjab National Bank Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (PNB RSETI). During the visit, he awarded certificates to successful trainees of the "Junior Beauty Practitioner" program and extended his best wishes for their bright futures.
During the event, the District Magistrate not only awarded certificates to the successful trainees but also interacted with them to gather insights regarding their training experiences, acquired skills, future plans, and preparations for establishing self-employment ventures.
Addressing the trainees, the District Magistrate stated that skill is the greatest strength for self-reliance and that skill development forms the cornerstone of an 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India). He urged them not to limit the knowledge and skills gained during training merely to the certificate itself, but to utilize them to create sustainable livelihoods through self-employment and entrepreneurship. Motivating the trainees to set up their own ventures, he emphasized that quality, discipline, a continuous learning mindset, and excellent customer service play pivotal roles in the success of any business. He noted that by leveraging their skills, the trained youth and women could not only become financially self-reliant but also create employment opportunities for others.
Additionally, the District Magistrate inspected the institute's infrastructure, training rooms, training-related facilities, and the various programs currently in operation. He commended PNB RSETI for its efforts in providing free skill development training to rural youth and women and linking them to self-employment opportunities. He encouraged the trainees to practically apply their acquired skills to establish their own enterprises and to avail themselves of the benefits offered by government schemes and banking facilities.
Officials present on the occasion included Deputy Development Commissioner Vijay Kumar Pandey, Lead District Manager Abhay Anand, General Manager of the District Industries Centre Ashish Ranjan, Officer on Special Duty Vinay Pratap, the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Nokha, and the Circle Officer (CO) of Nokha, among others.
