The event was inaugurated by the school’s Managing Director, Dr. Kumar Dwijendra. Speaking on the occasion, he noted that the month of Sawan holds great mythological and spiritual significance in our country.

ARA-------------------------A cultural festival titled ‘Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke’ (Sawan Arrives in Full Swing) was organized at ‘Shanti Smriti’ Sambhavna Residential High School, located in Shubh Narayan Nagar, Majhauwa, to mark the holy month of Shravan. The event was inaugurated by the school’s Managing Director, Dr. Kumar Dwijendra. Speaking on the occasion, he noted that the month of Sawan holds great mythological and spiritual significance in our country.
A festive atmosphere prevails across the nation during this month. Shravan is considered the most auspicious time for the worship of Lord Shiva. It is also a crucial month for agriculture and farmers, as the prospects of future agricultural produce are determined during this period. He extended his greetings to all the female students and teachers present in the auditorium.
In her welcome address, Principal Dr. Archana Singh remarked that our country is culturally and religiously rich, hosting a multitude of festivals and celebrations. We associate every month of the year with various festivals, and within this context, the month of Shravan holds heightened mythological and spiritual importance.
Devotees of Lord Shiva perform *Jalabhishek* (ritual offering of water) at Shiva temples across the country and the state after undertaking the *Kanwar Yatra* pilgrimage. She conveyed her best wishes for the holy month of Shravan to all students, teachers, and staff members. During the event, under the guidance of music teachers Dharmendra Kumar, Amitesh Ranjan, and Mahesh Kumar Sharma, the school's female students delivered outstanding performances of *Kajri* and *Sawan* songs. The cultural festival commenced with a captivating performance of the song "Hari Hari Shambhu Chalale Sasurari..." accompanied by the imagery of gathering monsoon clouds and a gentle drizzle. The students' rendition of the *Kajri* song compelled the entire audience in the auditorium to sway along to the rhythm. Various songs were performed by both students and teachers. The *Sawan* (monsoon) songs were presented by students Sarika Singh, Nagma Khatoon, Vandana Kumari, Sanaya Alam, Somya Kumari, Arya Kumari, Arshi Dubey, Yubika Kumari, Saloni Kumari, Sikksham, Pratigya Singh, Arpita Keshari, Somya Singh, Mahi Sharma, Sonakshi Sharma, and Annaya Keshari.
At the conclusion of the program, the school principal, Dr. Archana Singh, honored the teachers with gifts to mark the *Sawan* festival. The event was anchored by teacher Chanda Kumari, while the vote of thanks was delivered by teacher Renu Singh. The stage design was conceptualized by the school's art teachers, Vishnu Shankar and Sanjeev Sinha. Students and all teachers of the school were present on the occasion.
