ARA----------------------------In the district's Gajrajganj OP area The body of a teenage boy was found hanging from a tree in Gajrajganj village. His body was discovered on Tuesday morning by the roadside, a short distance from his home. Speculation suggests that the suicide was driven by a romantic affair. The incident has caused a stir throughout the village and the surrounding areas.

According to reports, the deceased teenager was 17-year-old Prince Kumar Sah, son of the late Jayram Sah and a native of Shivpur village under the Barhara police station area. For the past few years, he had been living in Gajrajganj village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Gajrajganj Outpost (OP). On Monday night, the family went to sleep after dinner. Early Tuesday morning, he left the house, went a short distance away, and hanged himself from a roadside tree using a *gamchha* (traditional scarf) tied around his neck.

On Tuesday morning, villagers spotted the body hanging from the tree while out for their morning ablutions and raised an alarm. Subsequently, family members and the local police arrived at the scene. The police took custody of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Chanchal Kumar Mahtha, the Gajrajganj OP In-charge, stated that the deceased teenager was involved in a romantic relationship with a girl. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suicide was indeed prompted by this relationship.

He mentioned that the boy had left home early Tuesday morning while talking on his mobile phone. Before taking his life, he recorded a video on his phone, though his face was not visible as the camera lens was covered. In the recording, he is heard saying, "I love that girl very much and cannot live without her; that is why I am committing suicide." The police are conducting their own investigation into the matter. The incident has left the teenager's family devastated; his mother and other family members are inconsolable.
