BUXAR-------------------------Imam Ali Ansari, the headmaster of the Middle School at Nathuni Ahir Dera under the Krishnabrahm police station area, was granted bail by a special court in a POCSO case. During the court hearing, the police failed to present any concrete evidence or facts against him. Consequently, the Special Judge (POCSO) court accepted his bail plea.

The case had made headlines when an allegedly obscene video featuring two teachers from the school went viral. Prior to the arrest of those two teachers, the police had already arrested Headmaster Imam Ali Ansari and sent him to jail. The police alleged that despite being aware of the gravity of the matter, the headmaster failed to inform senior officials.

At the time of his arrest, Ansari’s name was on the list of teachers selected by the state government for the 'Teacher's Honour' award on Teachers' Day. Following his arrest, his name was removed from the list.

Defense counsel Shashikant Upadhyay argued in court that the headmaster had no criminal record and that the FIR contained no direct allegations against him. The court summoned the case diary and heard the matter. Subsequently, the court found that the police had failed to gather sufficient evidence against the headmaster and granted him bail.

These developments have raised questions regarding the police's actions and investigative process. Why was the arrest made in such haste when there was no concrete evidence against the headmaster? Did the police adequately examine the available facts and evidence prior to the arrest? The failure of the police to present sufficient evidence in court has further intensified these concerns.

There is an atmosphere of joy in his village, Ariyanv, following Ansari's release on bail. According to locals, he has been active in social and religious events, and his family has long been involved in the village's social activities.
