ARA-----------------------------A camp was organized at the Upgraded Secondary School, Katariya, where students were provided with detailed information regarding cervical cancer caused by the Human Papillomavirus. During the health camp held at the venue, medical personnel from the Piro Community Health Center highlighted that, following breast cancer, cervical cancer accounts for the highest number of cancer cases reported among women. More than 80,000 women are affected by this condition annually—a situation that is undoubtedly a cause for concern. To provide protection against this, the Health Department is administering the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. During the camp, doctors raised awareness among the female students regarding cervical cancer and encouraged them to get vaccinated against HPV. On the spot, the students' hemoglobin levels were tested, and they were provided with necessary advice on how to prevent anemia. In addition to hundreds of students, the health camp was attended by the school's Headmistress, Anita Sharma, along with Anurag Milan and several other teachers.
