SEXAGENARIAN SHOT DEAD IN BHOJPUR

Ara (RNI) Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a sexagenarian at Tikapur village under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district in last night. The deceased was identified as Shiv Pujan Rai 65 of Tikapur village. On information, police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bahoranpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still  to be ascertained.

SDPO, Jagdishpur Rajiv Chandra Singh said that the police got information that a sexagenarian was shot dead at Tikapur village under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district in the late night on May 28, 2029. On information, police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. The SDPO further said that a team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has also been requisitioned to ascertain the cause of the murder.
