ARA------------------------Police have arrested a notorious criminal wanted in connection with a firing incident in Bihiya, Bhojpur. He was arrested in the Nagar police station area on Saturday in a joint operation by the Bihar Special Task Force (STF) and the Bihiya police in Bhojpur.

He is Rajesh Yadav, son of Dashrath Yadav, a resident of Rupabandh village in the Jagdishpur police station area. He has a prior criminal history. He has been accused in nine cases, including robbery, kidnapping, extortion, and attempted murder. He has also been jailed for these cases.

Bhojpur Superintendent of Police Raj stated that Rajesh Yadav is a notorious and professional criminal. Nine serious cases are already registered against him in various police stations in the district. He was currently absconding for nearly eight months in connection with a firing incident registered at Bihiya police station. Continuous raids were being conducted to arrest him. Meanwhile, with the help of the STF, he was arrested in the Nagar police station area through a technical source.
