A major accident was averted during Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's visit to Patna City to review preparations for Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj's Prakash Parv. A Scorpio in the Chief Minister's convoy hit a traffic DSP on duty. Fortunately, the DSP was saved by the police personnel present immediately.

The incident occurred at 'Prakash Punj' near the market committee in Didarganj. The Chief Minister was inspecting the watchtower there. The driver of the Scorpio in the convoy was backing the vehicle. The driver did not notice the traffic DSP standing behind him and the vehicle collided with him. The DSP fell to the ground upon impact, causing chaos.

Other police officers present at the scene of the accident responded quickly and stopped the vehicle by slamming their hands on the rear. According to eyewitnesses, if the vehicle hadn't stopped in time, a serious accident could have occurred. The police officers immediately picked up the fallen DSP and supported him. This incident has raised questions about the operation and coordination of vehicles deployed for the Chief Minister's security.
