TWO DAY CONVENTION OF THE BIHAR HINDI SAHITYA SAMMELAN ORGANIZED
Hindi does not seek to replace any other language of the country, but only English, which is rightfully Hindi's place. It is a matter of misfortune and shame that in an independent nation, a language that enslaved the country still holds sway over a vast area. India will be freed from this global shame only when one language of the country becomes the language of every citizen. There must be one language in the country that the entire nation knows, understands, and can use. With these thoughts and a resolution to work tirelessly towards making Hindi the national language of India soon, the two-day 44th grand convention of the Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Patna, concluded with great splendor.
