While South Bihar remains gripped by scorching heat and heatwaves, several districts in North Bihar face the looming threat of severe storms, heavy rainfall, and lightning strikes. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for severe storms across 13 districts. According to the department, wind speeds in these districts could reach up to 50 kilometers per hour. Additionally, there is a possibility of lightning and hailstorms, prompting authorities to advise the public to remain vigilant. In several regions of North Bihar, rainfall has brought about pleasant weather and a noticeable drop in temperatures. Conversely, the intense heat persists in the districts of South Bihar, where the mercury has soared past the 40-degree Celsius mark in numerous locations. The combination of scorching sunshine and hot winds has significantly disrupted daily life for the residents.
