ARA-------------------------What we are currently experiencing is not merely ordinary summer heat. It marks the onset of a dangerous phenomenon known as "El Niño." It can silently claim lives and take our loved ones away from us. As the month of May approaches, this situation is likely to become even more severe.

Simply put, the waters of the Pacific Ocean become unusually warm. This alters global wind patterns. Consequently, the Southwest Monsoon—which typically brings rainfall in May—may arrive late or be weaker than usual this time around. This means that during the very period when rain is expected, we may instead experience intense heat.

Even healthy individuals can lose their lives due to heatstroke. Therefore, for our own safety, we must immediately adopt the following precautions:

Thirst is a signal that the body has already begun to suffer from dehydration. Keep drinking water every hour. Pay special attention to children and the elderly to ensure they are consuming adequate amounts of water. Always carry a water bottle with you.

The Most Dangerous Time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

During this period, the sun's rays beat down directly upon the body. Stay indoors as much as possible. Exercise extreme caution regarding school sports and outdoor activities. Your child's life is far more precious than any medal. Dark colors tend to absorb more heat. Opt for light-colored cotton clothing, such as white or pale pink.

Symptoms of Heatstroke: Severe headache, Fainting or loss of consciousness, Vomiting, Dry skin (absence of sweating)

If these symptoms appear, immediately move the affected person to a shaded area, wipe their body down with a damp cloth, and rush them to a hospital without delay. ? Don't Forget the Animals

Help not only your own pets but also the stray animals on the streets. Place water outside your home or near a wall. Arrange for shade for them.

Do not remain silent after reading this message. Share it with your family and friends. We must be prepared to face the impending "El Niño" situation.

News emerging from Ranchi, Jharkhand, reveals that an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) visits his office only once a month—solely to mark his attendance. Otherwise, he spends his time in Varanasi, Deoghar, or Jamshedpur, engaging in religious rituals and worship. Although he is officially assigned to the 'Dial 112' unit, whenever he is spotted, he is invariably found performing *pujas* (worship ceremonies). He is frequently seen in Varanasi accompanying various patrons (Yajmans), or he travels to Deoghar or stays in Jamshedpur; he even performs religious rituals at the residence of the Inspector General (IG) in Ranchi. Due to this connection, no senior official dares to take disciplinary action against him. The ASI in question is named Neeraj Kumar, and his deep-rooted influence among high-ranking officials allows him to remain absent from duty with impunity. If his mobile phone location data were to be tracked, it would immediately become evident just how few days he actually reports for duty—but the question remains: who would dare to initiate such an inquiry? Sources also suggest that he is involved in land trading and real estate dealings. Several videos and photographs, gathered through various sources, show him sitting with his patrons and performing *pujas* in Varanasi. This raises two critical questions: Who grants him leave for such extended periods? And secondly, does he remain absent from duty with the tacit collusion of the administration? One thing is certain: the administration itself appears to be complicit in this matter.
