ARA----------------------------The police are taking action following threats made against advocate Harendra Singh, who is representing the side of the late Ramkumar Singh—a former Customs officer and president of the Kshatriya Kalyan Sangh—in his murder case. The Town Police Station has taken one individual into custody, and he is currently being questioned.

The individual in custody has been moved to an undisclosed location for interrogation. However, senior police officials have not yet provided an official confirmation regarding this. It is anticipated that the Superintendent of Police (SP) may hold a press conference on Monday to provide details about the entire incident.

According to the information received, advocate Harendra Singh, who is handling the case for the late Ramkumar Singh, received a call on his mobile phone on Thursday from an unidentified person. The caller demanded an extortion sum of ₹10 lakh and threatened to kill him if the amount was not paid.

In connection with this, advocate Harendra Singh—a Civil Court lawyer and son of the late Ramchandra Singh, originally from Saripur village under the Sandesh Police Station area (currently residing in Mirganj Kallu Dukan Lane, Ward No. 6, under the Town Police Station area)—filed an FIR at the Town Police Station.
