PATNA--------------------------Following his expulsion from the Janata Dal (United), Mokama MLA and strongman leader Anant Singh has responded to the development for the first time, stating unequivocally that Nitish Kumar’s party, the JD(U), is now finished. He made it clear that he would not be joining any other party, but would instead form his own.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Anant Singh claimed that in the near future, the JD(U) would be reduced to just 10 seats. He also mentioned that he learned of his expulsion through news reports. In a defiant tone, he challenged those who ousted him, asking, "What is their own standing? This will become clear in the upcoming elections."

When asked who was behind his expulsion from the JD(U), the leader—often referred to as 'Chhote Sarkar'—suggested that those who have effectively taken control of the party must be the ones responsible. He maintained that he had committed no wrongdoing. Furthermore, questioning the current state of affairs within the party, he remarked that given the way things are being run, the party has effectively ceased to exist.

Anant Singh stated firmly that he has no regrets. "The public is God, and whatever decision they have made is the right one; I have no issue with it. I don’t know who ordered this action—perhaps those who have seized control of the party are responsible. I will focus on strengthening my own party. I believe the JD(U) has no future; this will become entirely clear during the elections."

Anant Singh also made sharp remarks regarding the JD(U) and former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, asserting that Nitish Kumar is finished and the party has been ruined. He also made a bold claim regarding the JD(U)’s performance in the upcoming elections, stating that the party’s standing would become clear through the election results.
