JD(U) CAMPARES ANANT SINGH WITH SHISHUPAL
The political conflict between Mokama’s strongman MLA, Anant Singh, and JDU leader Neeraj Kumar continues to deepen. PATNA--------------------------The political conflict between Mokama’s strongman MLA, Anant Singh, and JDU leader Neeraj Kumar continues to deepen. Following Anant Singh’s ouster from the Janata Dal (United), the party appears to be splitting into two factions: one justifies the action taken against Anant Singh, while the other directs sharp criticism at the JDU leadership.
After Anant Singh’s six-year expulsion from the party, senior JDU leader and former minister Shyam Rajak has defended the disciplinary action, stating that the party made the right decision. Comparing Anant Singh to Shishupala, Rajak remarked that they had forgiven him until he reached his ‘100th mistake,’ but no longer—he has now crossed all limits.
Former minister Shyam Rajak stated, “He reached his 100th mistake, and action was taken against him just as Lord Krishna dealt with Shishupala.” Furthermore, a request has been submitted to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly to terminate his status as an MLA.
Meanwhile, supporters of Anant Singh have reacted sharply to the JDU’s move. A former JDU MLC, speaking in support of Anant Singh, claimed that “cockroaches” have infiltrated the JDU and are intent on destroying the Janata Dal (United). He alleged that anyone who supports Nitish and Nishant is being sidelined within the party by those seeking to seize control of the JDU.
