Addressing the teachers after the march, Krishna Singh 'Vimal', District President of the Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association (Gop Group), Bhojpur, stated that in accordance with the state committee's decision, five-kilometer foot marches under the banner "Save Education, Save the Country" are being organized at all district headquarters across Bihar today; the march in Bhojpur was part of this initiative. He highlighted the ongoing conspiracy by governments—both at the national and state levels—to close down schools through a process of merger. District Secretary Dharm Kumar Ram remarked that education is currently being commercialized and handed over to market forces, making it increasingly expensive and inaccessible to the common people. The Association's respected President, Rajaram Singh 'Priyadarshi', stated that through this march, they aim to convey a message to the government that the country remains secure only when education is preserved and teachers are secure. Sanjay Kumar, Block Convener of the Teachers' Association (Gop Group), Barhara, warned that if the government does not sympathetically consider their demands in a timely manner, they would be compelled to launch larger movements to save education and the country. Manoj Kumar Kiran, the Association's Treasurer, stated that as part of the second phase of their ongoing campaign, teachers from Bhojpur would observe a one-day hunger strike on September 25, 2026. Through this action, they aim to send a message to the government that they are committed to saving the country's education system from ruin at any cost. Meanwhile, Kumari Alka, General Secretary of the National Women Teachers' Front (NFWT) Bihar, remarked that the education system has completely collapsed, and teachers are being burdened with a constant stream of new non-academic tasks in addition to their teaching duties. State Secretary Kamlesh Kumar, State Organizing Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, NFWT State Treasurer Anju Kumari, along with District Treasurer and District Vice-Presidents—including Kedarnath Singh, Satyendra Kumar Singh, Arvind Kumar, and Dev Kumar Singh—and Block Presidents/Secretaries (such as Manish Kumar, Surendra Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Shakuntala Dushyant Raman, Rajesh Kumar, Arun Kumar, Dr. Amanullah, and Manoj Kumar) affirmed that the Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association (Gop Group) would continue its agitation to save education and the nation, adhering to constitutional and democratic methods and maintaining discipline.
