KALASH’ REACHED ROHTAS

SASARAM-------------------------As part of the state-wide public awareness campaign organized to mark the 650th birth anniversary year of Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji, a sacred *Kalash*—dispatched from a state-level event held at Gyan Bhawan, Patna, on Friday—arrived at the Sasaram Collectorate in Rohtas district.

The sacred *Kalash* was welcomed with reverence within the Collectorate premises in the presence of the District Magistrate. Present on this occasion were the Deputy Development Commissioner, District Education Officer, Senior Deputy Collector, District Art and Culture Officer, District Planning Officer, Vice-Chairman and members of the 20-Point Programme Committee, journalists, artists from the district's theatre troupe, public representatives, representatives of social organizations, and a large number of devotees.

Following the welcome ceremony, the sacred *Kalash* (urn) was reverently placed at the Sant Ravidas Temple in Muradabad, Sasaram.

Those present pledged to disseminate Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality, social harmony, humanity, brotherhood, and social justice to the masses.

The District Magistrate stated that the teachings of Sant Guru Ravidas Ji remain highly relevant today for building a society based on social harmony, equality, and goodwill. His ideas inspire the strengthening of mutual love, brotherhood, and a sense of equality within society.

During the event, devotees paid their respects to the sacred *Kalash* and participated in a public awareness programme focused on the life, philosophy, and ideals of Sant Guru Ravidas Ji. The entire event was imbued with an atmosphere of reverence, devotion, social harmony, and the message of humanity.

The sacred *Kalash* was reverently placed at the Sant Ravidas Temple in Sasaram, where devotees paid their respects and pledged to internalize the ideals of Sant Ravidas Ji.
