GRAND FINALE OF ‘DANCE BIHAR DANCE SEASON-5 CONCLUDED

ARA-------------------------The grand finale of 'Dance Bihar Dance Season-5', organized by RSDC Music & Dance School, concluded on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Parinay Marriage Resort located at Manjhaua Bandh. The event was managed by Satya Event Management. More than 150 participants, selected from various districts of Bihar, showcased their dancing talent at the event.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Shashi Shekhar, ADM of Bhojpur. This was followed by a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Mahesh Paswan (MLA, Agiaon), Rishi Kumar Rai (District President, Buxar), Rajeshwar Singh (District President, Bhojpur), Abhishek Narayan Pandey (State General Secretary, HAM Party), Bablu Yadav, and Govind Raj.

The event commenced with a 'Ganesh Vandana' dance performance. Sivani and Sivanshi delivered a magnificent rendition of the Ganesh Vandana, which was highly appreciated by the audience.

Kanu Mukherjee, a renowned and senior dance director from the Mumbai-based Bhojpuri film industry, attended the grand finale as a special guest. Kanu Mukherjee is one of the veteran and distinguished dance directors of the Bhojpuri film world, having choreographed for over 1,000 Bhojpuri films.

He was welcomed at the event by the program's president, Maheshwar Mishra. His arrival generated great excitement among the participants and dance enthusiasts.

Competitions in Kids, Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories—covering solo, duet, and group dance—were held during the grand finale. The group dance segment featured Junior Group and Senior Group categories.

Participants selected through auditions were given the opportunity to showcase their talent at the grand finale. Over 150 selected participants took part in the competition, arriving from various districts across Bihar, including Ara, Patna, Danapur, Bhagalpur, Buxar, Bihiya, Purnia, Sasaram, Ballia, and Mohania.

In the Kids category, the first prize was awarded to Kiya Singh, the second prize to Sanvi Pradarshini, and the third prize to Aditya Raj. In the Sub-Junior category, the first prize went to Kavya, the second to Aahana Chaudhary, and the third to Arpit Kumar.

In the Junior category, the first prize was awarded to Adika, the second to Sahil, and the third to Sheetal.

In the Senior Solo category, the first prize went to M.R.K. Vigal, the second to Maggie Mohit, and the third to Sanjeev.

In the Duet Dance category, the first prize was awarded to Raj and Juhi, the second to Sunayana and Aarna, and the third to Harshit Azad.

In the Group Dance category, the DMJ Group (Nawada) won the first prize. 'Dance Is Life' secured the second position, and S.N. Memorial School took the third. The DMJ Group (Nawada), having secured the first position, was honored with a trophy and a cash prize.

During the event, various choreographers from Ara were felicitated by Kanu Mukherjee, a senior choreographer from the Bhojpuri film industry.

At the awards ceremony, Sonu Pritam and M.K. Gupta Joy were honored with the 'Youth Icon Choreographer Award'.

The panel of judges for the competition comprised Sonu Pritam, Kanu Mukherjee, Ved Mehta, and Varsha Khan.

A special fashion show, directed by Manish Verma, was organized during the event and greatly entertained the audience.

Makeup artist Pooja Raj—under whose direction the fashion show was also conducted—was felicitated by senior choreographer Kanu Mukherjee.

The event was presided over by Maheshwar Mishra, State General Secretary of the HAM party, while the guests were welcomed by Rishabh Raj, Director of Satya Event Management.

Team coordinators Anjani Kumar and Rishabh Kumar played a pivotal role in the event's success. Under their leadership, the entire team contributed to making the event a success. At the conclusion of the program, all team members were honored with awards. Khushi Sharma, Mukti Pandey, Shikha Kumari, Ankita Singh, Janhvi Raj, Karishma Singh, Khushi Gupta, Sanvi Singh, Anushka Singh, Aman Raj, Shivam Kumar, Uttam Kumar Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Harshit Kumar, Anjani Kumar, Hrithik Raj, Rohit Kumar, Abhimanyu Soni, Anand Kumar, Govind Raj, Piyush Kumar, Aryan Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Kumar Vaibhav, Bhaskar, Sagar, Roshan, Manish, Naman, Sahil, Amar, Chand, Salman, Rahul, Vishal, Vinod Sharma, Sunny, Kanaiya, and Dharmesh made significant contributions to the success of the event.

The organizing bodies, RSDC Music & Dance School and Satya Event Management, expressed their gratitude to all the supporting institutions and establishments.

Ratna Kumari anchored the event brilliantly, ably assisted by Rishi Kal Pathak; together, they conducted the entire program in a magnificent manner.

At the conclusion of the event, Sangeeta Singh delivered the vote of thanks. She thanked all the guests present, the panel of judges expressed gratitude to the participants, parents, choreographers, partner institutions, and the entire organizing team.

The organizers stated that the objective of 'Dance Bihar Dance Season 5' is to provide a major platform for talented children and youth from Bihar and to encourage their dancing talent. The enthusiasm and talent displayed by the participants during the grand finale made the entire event memorable.
