CONGRESS OBSERVES SADBHAVANA DIWAS

BUXAR-------------------------‘Sadbhavana Diwas’ (Day of Harmony) was observed on Thursday under the aegis of the Buxar District Congress Committee to mark the birth anniversary of the late Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna recipient. The event was held at the District Congress Committee office at Golambar under the leadership of District President Pankaj Upadhyay.

The program was graced by the presence of District Congress Committee in-charges Amit Chandravanshi and Rajeshwar Kushwaha. Congress members paid respectful tribute to Rajiv Gandhi by offering floral tributes at his portrait. The leaders and workers present recalled his contributions toward national unity, harmony, brotherhood, and social cohesion.

District President Pankaj Upadhyay stated that Rajiv Gandhi always prioritized the country's unity and social harmony alongside the construction of a modern and strong India. His thoughts and ideals continue to serve as a source of inspiration for society today. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of everyone to carry Rajiv Gandhi’s message of love, brotherhood, and harmony to every section of society.

A large number of Congress members attended the event, including senior leaders and workers such as Kameshwar Pandey, Harishankar Trivedi, Sanjay Kumar Dubey (Pappu Dubey), former MLA Vishwanath Ram, Rohit Upadhyay, Laxman Upadhyay, Madan Chaubey, Ajay Kumar Ojha, Mahima Shankar Upadhyay, Vinod Maurya, Rajnarayan Singh, Shivakant Mishra, and Women's Congress President Nirmala Devi.

At the conclusion of the program, the Congress members present pledged to strengthen mutual love, unity, brotherhood, and social harmony, and to take Rajiv Gandhi’s ideals and vision to the masses.
