BUXAR------------------------An inspiring message regarding environmental conservation was conveyed from Brahmapur—the abode of Baba Brahmeshwarnath—during the holy month of Sawan. A grand tree plantation drive was organized on the Gauri Shankar College campus on Friday, witnessing the participation of a large number of teachers, social activists, and local residents who planted saplings.
The event was organized under the guidance of Acharya Dharmendra Tiwari, while the entire campaign was led by Mukesh Kumar Mishra. During the drive, shade-providing and fruit-bearing saplings were planted across the college campus. Those present also pledged to ensure the protection and regular care of the saplings.
Addressing the gathering, environmentalist Ramesh Kumar Sudama stated that planting as many trees as possible is essential to maintaining environmental balance in the current times. He noted that trees not only provide us with life-sustaining oxygen but also play a crucial role in maintaining climatic balance, preserving biodiversity, and safeguarding human life. He urged everyone to not only plant saplings but also take care of them.
Members of the college community and local dignitaries participated enthusiastically in the event, pledging to spread the message of "Plant Trees, Save the Environment" to the masses.
Several prominent citizens, including Mukesh Kumar Mishra, Kamlesh Singh, Rajendra Mishra, Ajit Dubey, and Vindhyachal Jaiswal, were present at the plantation drive. At the conclusion of the event, everyone called for transforming environmental conservation into a mass movement.
