The incident has left the entire area in shock and devastated the affected families.

TAccording to reports, the two young children were playing near their homes on Saturday morning. Suddenly, a dilapidated boundary wall adjacent to their house collapsed, trapping both children beneath the debris. The children's grandfather was also injured in the accident. The deceased have been identified as Shivansh Kumar (3), son of Sajan Rajak, and Ankit Kumar (2.5), son of Rahul Rajak—both residents of Ward No. 6.

Shivansh was the third of four brothers, while Ankit was his parents' only child. This incident has extinguished the hopes and futures of two families. Panic ensued among locals following the incident, and a large number of villagers gathered at the scene. Acting swiftly, people cleared the debris and pulled the children out. Tragically, Shivansh died on the spot, while the critically injured Ankit was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Meanwhile, the children's grandfather, Chhotak Rajak, is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, villagers and family members, outraged by this tragic incident, have blocked the Bihiya-Piro State Highway near Dak-Bangla Chowk, demanding compensation and strict action against those responsible. Protesters are registering their protest by burning tires on the road. Given the gravity of the situation, police and administrative officials have arrived at the scene and are attempting to reason with the people. The administration is making every possible effort to bring the situation under control.
