Buxar (RNI) A heart-wrenching accident claimed the lives of two bikers on Tuesday morning in Koransarai police station area, Bhojpur district, sparking outrage as villagers blocked the Koransarai-Chigai road in protest. The tragedy unfolded on the Koransarai canal bridge when an out-of-control truck slammed into two motorcyclists. The victims, identified as Abhay Kumar alias Phagu, son of Rajkumar Gond, and Vikas alias Satya Gond, son of Manoj Gond, both residents of Basgitiya village under Koransarai police station, were heading to a petrol pump to refuel their bike. The collision killed them on the spot. Family members revealed that Abhay Kumar was the lone beacon of his household, the only son of his parents. Koransarai SHO Amit Kumar, who rushed to the scene, confirmed the accident and said, “The truck involved has been seized, but the driver fled the scene. We’re working to calm the villagers and resolve their demands for compensation.” Furious over the deaths, relatives and locals blocked the Koransarai-Chigai road, demanding justice and compensation. SHO Amit Kumar and his team are on the ground, trying to pacify the crowd as investigations continue.
