WEDDING TURNED INTO MOURNING, GROOM COMMITS CUICIDE, FUNERAL PYRE FLARED UP

ARA-----------------------------A heart-wrenching incident in Bhojpur district has shocked the entire area where a groom ended his life amidst the wedding shehnai. Sanjeet Kumar Yadav (30 years) of Chhotki Sandiya village of Mufassil police station area committed suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree on his wedding day. This incident happened when Sanjeet's baraat was getting ready for his marriage with Pooja Kumari in Fingi village of Bihiya police station area. The dream of a happy marriage turned into mourning in a few moments and a wave of grief ran through the village. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.

Sanjeet Kumar Yadav son of late Bhuneshwar Yadav of Chhotki Sandiya village was looking excited about his marriage. Wedding preparations were going on in full swing at his house. Relatives were getting ready for the wedding procession, women were singing Mangal Geet, and mehendi had been applied on Sanjeet's hands and feet. There was an atmosphere of joy and happiness in the house and everyone was eagerly waiting for this special day. But no one knew that this moment of happiness would soon turn into a dark night of sorrow.

Family members said that on the morning of the wedding day, Sanjeet left the house saying that he would return in a while. But when he did not return for a long time, the family members started getting worried. Meanwhile, in a garden outside the village, some people saw a young man hanging from a noose on a mango tree. On going closer, it was found that he was Sanjeet. The family members immediately reached the spot and took him down from the noose and took him to Sadar Hospital in Ara where the doctor declared him dead.
