BHOJPUR POLICE CLAIMED TO SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF MURDER, ARREST ONE MISCREANT

ARA------------------------Bhojpur police claimed to solve the double murder case of Ratnadh village under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district and arrested one accused in this regard and also recovered a country made pistol used in the murder and five blank cartridges. The arrested miscreant was identified as Vishnu Sah of Ratnadh village.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that Chandan Kumar Singh 39 son of Surendra Singh and Mohammad Sonu 22 son of Kalamuddin Ansari were shot dead at Ratnadh village under Gadhani police station on June 3, 2025 night. An FIR was lodged with the police under Gadhni police station against Vishnu Sah on Statememnt of Kalamuddin Ansari whereas another FIR was lodged against Prakash Kumar and Aditya Kumar on the statement of Kundan Kumar brother of Chandan Kumar Singh alias Manzil.

The SP said that the murder was committed in a dipute over asking for a matchbox to light cigarette. When matchbox was not given, both the groups shot each other. After instution of FIRs, the police swung into action and investigation, interrogation of the arrested accused and conversation with the family members of both the deceased revealed that on June 3, 2025 night, there was a dispute between Mohammad Sonu and Chandan Kumar Singh alias Manjhil for a matchbox to light cigarette that took ugly turn within no time and both exchanged fire in which Mohammad Sonu and Chandan Kumar Singh were killed. After the incident, ASP along with police force rushed to the spot and investigated the matter and also recovered five blank cartridges from the spot. The police arrested Vishnu Sah with pistol used in the murder. The SP said that the rest two named accused will be arrested soon.
