SPEEDING TROLLEY CRAHSED INTO HOUSE, TWO INJURED

BHABHUA-------------------------A major road accident was narrowly averted on Wednesday morning on NH-19 at Pachhahganj, within the jurisdiction of the Kudra police station. A speeding trolley truck, traveling from Mohania towards Sasaram, lost control and rammed into a roadside tea stall, a house, and parked vehicles before crashing directly into the house. Two people were injured in the incident, while several others had a narrow escape.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 7:30 AM. At the time, several vehicle drivers and locals were having tea at the roadside stall. Suddenly, the speeding truck lost control and first struck the tea stall. It then plowed into other nearby parked vehicles before crashing violently into a house.

The impact was so severe that a portion of the house was damaged, causing chaos in the area. Bystanders reported that some drivers were trapped beneath the truck during the accident but were safely rescued thanks to the prompt action of locals. Two people sustained injuries and were sent to the hospital for first aid.

A large number of villagers gathered at the scene following the incident. Angered villagers apprehended the truck driver and informed the police. Upon receiving the information, the Kudra police arrived at the site, took the driver into custody, and initiated an investigation.

Locals state that accidents frequently occur on NH-19 due to speeding vehicles. They have demanded that the administration strictly enforce traffic regulations in the area and curb the menace of speeding. The police stated that the cause of the accident is being investigated. Preliminary findings suggest that the truck's high speed and the driver losing control of the vehicle were the primary reasons for the crash. An assessment of the damaged property is underway, and further action regarding the matter is proceeding.
