ARA----------------------------On the occasion of the International Women's Day Fortnight, a seminar-cum-poster competition was organized under the theme "Rights, Justice, Action: All Women and Girls." Held under the aegis of the Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (World Youth Centre), New Delhi, and the Antyodaya Chetna Mandal, the event took place at the +2 High School in Sarathua, within the Udwant Nagar block. The program was formally inaugurated jointly by District Council Member Mrs. Vandana Rajvanshi, Jagdishpur District Council Member Mrs. Poonam Kushwaha, former Chairperson of the Bhojpur District Child Welfare Committee Dr. Sunita Singh, and the Acting Headmaster, Mr. Ramkumar Singh.

Social worker Ms. Vibha Kumari welcomed and honored the visiting dignitaries by presenting them with flowers. Subsequently, Ms. Phool Sundari Devi and Ms. Subhanti Devi performed an inspiring song on the theme of women's empowerment. Introducing the subject of the seminar, the organization's Secretary, Mr. Ramnath Thakur, explained that this year's event was organized with the specific objective of raising awareness regarding women's rights, justice, and empowerment, centering on the theme "Rights, Justice, Action: All Women and Girls."

In her address, District Council Member Mrs. Vandana Rajvanshi emphasized that providing equal opportunities, dignity, and security to women and girls is absolutely essential for the holistic development of any society.

District Council Member Mrs. Poonam Kushwaha stressed the importance of raising awareness regarding women's rights and ensuring their active participation in the fields of education, healthcare, and social justice.

Sharing her experiences, Dr. Sunita Singh pledged to work collaboratively with others to protect the rights of women and girls, ensure timely access to justice, and facilitate their advancement across all spheres of development.

During the program, students presented beautiful and inspiring posters related to women's empowerment; selected students—both girls and boys—were subsequently honored with awards.

Applauding both the participants and the organizing institutions, the guests present remarked that such activities serve to strengthen positive thinking and the spirit of equality within society.

The seminar was also addressed by Mr. Aditya Raj, Mr. Mithilesh Kumar, Dr. Kritunjay Chaudhary, Mr. Vinay Kumar Singh, Ms. Akanksha Kumari, Mr. Dev Sagar Singh, and others. The successful contestants included Pinku, Ritika, Roshni Kumari, Rita Kumari, Jubed Ali, Roshni, Anshu Kumari, Ria Kumari, and others.

Ravi Ranjan Kumar, Kanchan Kumari, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Vinay Kumar Singh, Anis Kumar, and others made a commendable contribution to making the event a success.
