ARA------------------------------A review meeting was held today via Zoom, presided over by Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania, to assess the progress of schemes—such as Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) and compost pits—and land availability within the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Councils, and Nagar Panchayats.

During the meeting, the current status of land selection for these schemes was reviewed with the Executive Officers of all Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats. It was reported that land has been made available for MRFs and compost pits in all the district's urban local bodies. Additionally, construction work has commenced in Shahpur Municipal Council and Ara Municipal Corporation, and work is set to begin shortly in Jagdishpur Municipal Council as well.

The District Magistrate directed that the proposal regarding the available land be submitted to the department without delay. He instructed all concerned officials to ensure the speedy implementation of schemes and to see that construction works are completed in a high-quality and time-bound manner.

The meeting was attended by the Municipal Commissioner, all Sub-Divisional Officers, all Land Reform Deputy Collectors, the Additional Municipal Commissioner, Officers-in-Charge of the District Development and District Revenue branches, Executive Officers of all Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats, Circle Officers (Ara, Koilwar, Garhani, Piro, Jagdishpur, Shahpur, and Bihiya), and other relevant officials.
