TREE PLANTATION IN BHOJPUR

ARA----------------------------A tree plantation program was organized at the Shahpur Referral Hospital premises in Bhojpur district on the fourth day of the 'Van Mahotsav' (Forest Festival) fortnight. The slogan for the Van Mahotsav fortnight was "Our Objective: A Green Future." On this occasion, under the guidance of environmental activists Nityanand Ji and Umesh Prasad Ji, several shade-bearing and medicinal plants were planted within the hospital complex. The plantation drive was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Atiullah Ansari, the Medical Officer-in-Charge of Shahpur Referral Hospital. Nature enthusiasts Mukesh Mishra (Acting Block Head, Shahpur) and Ajit Dubey (District Physical Training Head, Bhojpur) contributed voluntary labor (*shramdaan*) to this noble cause, alongside volunteers and hospital staff. Tree plantation not only purifies the environment but also provides a clean and healthy atmosphere for patients and their families visiting the hospital. Those present pledged not only to plant the saplings but also to nurture and care for them just as one would care for children.
