RETIRED BMP HAVILDAR MURDERED IN KARAKAT, SUSPECTS AT LARGE

Sasaram (RNI) In a shocking incident, 70-year-old retired BMP Havildar Ambika Pandey, son of late Janki Pandey, was found murdered in Arun Pandey’s courtyard in Jamua Bal village under Karakat police station, with locals discovering the crime on Tuesday afternoon. The blood-soaked body of Ambika Pandey was spotted around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting police to rush to the scene and launch an investigation. Bikramganj SDPO Kumar Sanjay said, “The motive behind the murder remains unclear. Family members are accusing Arun Pandey and his son Vikesh Pandey, both currently absconding. Clarity will come only after their arrest.” According to relatives, Ambika often visited Arun Pandey’s place, chatting with the father-son duo and sometimes staying overnight. On Monday, he left home at 10 a.m. after eating. When he didn’t return by Tuesday morning, family members began searching. They found his body in the courtyard, drenched in blood, and alerted the police. The police sent the body to the Sadar Hospital for postmortem and are probing the case, with efforts underway to nab the suspects.
