POLICE ARRESTED A PERSON

BHABHUA---------------------------A violent altercation took place between two groups on July 13 in Amanv village, under the Karamchat police station area, stemming from a land dispute and issues regarding possession. Two individuals from one side and one from the other were injured in the incident; all received treatment at Bhabua Sadar Hospital. Following the incident, on July 14, Ramashish Singh filed a complaint at the Karamchat police station, lodging an FIR against seven people for assault related to the land possession dispute. Meanwhile, Ram Awadhesh Mahto from the opposing side also filed a complaint against three individuals, alleging assault and an attempt to merge his field into theirs. Ram Awadhesh Mahto had also sustained injuries during the incident.

Station House Officer (SHO) Pankaj Kumar Paswan stated that the police registered a case based on the complaints from both parties and have initiated an investigation. In connection with this case, Ram Avdhesh Mahto's nephew, Shashi Singh, was arrested on Friday. After undergoing a medical examination at the Rampur Primary Health Centre on Saturday, he was sent to judicial custody at the Bhabhua Court.

The police state that the investigation is ongoing, and continuous raids are being conducted to arrest the other named accused.
