ONE ELECTRICIAN WAS BEATEN TO DEATH MERELY FOR PLUCKING MANGOES IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA---------------------------One electrician was beaten to death at Khesarhiya village under Giddha police station in Bhojpur district merely for plucking of mangoes. Police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. The police also recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Md. Kaisar Ali 42 son of late Shaheed of Khesarhiya village. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Giddha police station against Anwar Ali, his son Irfan Jainul, Ezaz and Shahnawaz in this regard on the statement of Md. Shakir Ali, cousin brother of the deceased. All the accused are absconding. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the named accused.

Md. Shakir Ali cousin brother of the deceased said that they had bought garden on 10 kattha of land for about 50 years ago but for the last one year his neighbour Anwar Ali claimed that he had purchased the garden and this was the bone of contention.

In the morning, when Md. Kaisar Ali was plucking mangoes in the garden, Anwar Ali along with his sons and brothers came there and forbade Md. Kaisar Ali from plucking mangoes. When he did not yield to their dictate, they thrashed him to death with traditional weapons.

SHO Giddha police station Umus Salama said that in a dispute over plucking of mangoes, one Md. Kaisar Ali was beaten to death. A named FIR was lodged in this regard but all the named accused are absconding. She said that the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Meanwhile, the police detained a woman of the family of the accused for interrogation.
