ARA-------------------------Following recent changes in leadership within the Bhojpur District Congress Committee, a new face has been appointed to the post of President. This is a natural part of the organizational process, and we extend our heartfelt best wishes to the new President as they undertake this significant responsibility. It is hoped that they will play a pivotal role in further strengthening the party.

However, on this occasion, it is imperative to acknowledge the contributions of the former President, Ashok Ram. His tenure was not only crucial for the expansion of the organization, but he also made tireless efforts to strengthen the Congress party at the grassroots level. Under his leadership, the party achieved several significant milestones that will continue to serve as a source of inspiration for years to come.

Hailing from the Dalit community, Ashok Ram dedicated nearly 40 years of his life to the Congress party. This stands as a testament not merely to a political affiliation, but to his deep-seated commitment to an ideology and a struggle. In every circumstance, he upheld the party's principles and worked with absolute honesty and unwavering loyalty to fortify the organization.

His style of functioning was characterized by simplicity, dedication, and a spirit of struggle. He consistently endeavored to carry the party workers along with him and placed great emphasis on maintaining unity within the organization. Leaders who work for years on behalf of an ideology—devoid of any personal self-interest—are indeed a rare breed.

Although he may no longer hold the office of President today, his contributions will forever be remembered. His name will continue to be spoken with reverence within the political landscape of Bhojpur and the Congress organization.
