LETTER TO DJ REGARDING SECURITY AT THE CIVIL COURT

ARA----------------------------Advocate Vidya Niwas Singh alias Deepak Singhb wrote a letter to the District and Session Judge (DJ), Ara Civil Court saying that strict vigilance and security measures must be maintained by the police force deployed at the Arrah Civil Court premises, and no negligence should be tolerated.  Previously, two bomb incidents have occurred at the Arrah Civil Court.  A police picket was established at the Arrah Civil Court following the directions and orders of the Honorable High Court of Bihar.

It is often observed that the police personnel on duty are sitting idly, and the metal detector is out of order. The police do not use handheld metal detectors to check any of the clients or members of the public entering the premises; instead, they conduct manual searches.  Any unknown person could enter the premises disguised as a lawyer.

Such individuals have previously entered the Arrah Civil Court premises in disguise. Therefore, it is necessary that such individuals be allowed entry only after verifying their identity cards.  It is essential to consult with the office bearers of the Bar Association, Arrah, Bhojpur, and strengthen the security arrangements at the Arrah Civil Court premises to prevent any untoward incidents from occurring again.

Furthermore, it is necessary for the Bhojpur District Administration and the Police Administration to ensure robust and comprehensive security arrangements.
