PATNA---------------------------In Maner, situated adjacent to the state capital Patna, brazen criminals have perpetrated a major incident. These audacious criminals opened fire indiscriminately at the residence of Minister Ram Kripal Yadav's in-law. Three individuals are in critical condition following the incident.

Criminal activity in Bihar has reached an alarming peak, with criminals committing one offense after another in rapid succession. The latest such case comes from Maner, near Patna, where a late-night rampage by criminals was witnessed. According to reports, the fearless attackers targeted the residence of the in-law of Bihar government Minister Ram Kripal Yadav.

Information suggests that the criminals not only opened indiscriminate fire at Minister Ram Kripal Yadav's in-law's home but also barged inside and physically assaulted the occupants. Three people sustained serious injuries in this attack. According to the details received, more than a dozen armed miscreants surrounded the house late at night and fired approximately 15 rounds. The entire locality was shaken by the sound of the gunfire. Subsequently, the attackers forced their way into the house and assaulted family members using swords, sticks, bricks, and stones.

The three individuals injured in the attack have been admitted in critical condition to AIIMS Patna and a private nursing home, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Upon receiving news of the incident, the Maner police arrived at the scene and recovered several empty shell casings from the site. Given the high-profile nature of the case, the police administration has been placed on high alert.

The injured include Rajesh Kumar (alias Pappu)—son of Minister Ram Kripal Yadav's in-law, Rajendra Prasad—as well as Manish (alias Guddu) and Nitish (alias Bablu), both sons of the late Bhupendra Singh. Manish and Nitish are being treated at AIIMS Patna, while Pappu has been admitted to a private nursing home in Danapur. According to family members, four individuals—including Mukesh, Deepak (son of the late Satendra), and Prince—have been accused of carrying out the attack. It is alleged that the attackers fired approximately 15 rounds before launching an assault using swords and sticks. A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the sounds of gunfire can be heard.

According to senior officials, the attackers are being identified, and continuous raids are being conducted to apprehend them. Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident may stem from a personal feud or a premeditated conspiracy; however, the police are examining the matter from all angles. Following the incident, an atmosphere of panic and tension prevails in the area.
