ARA-------------------------On Friday evening, a young man from Buxar, who was riding a motorcycle, was struck violently by a car on the Ara-Sasaram State Highway between Charpokhari and Nagraon villages (under the Charpokhari police station area). He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at PMCH. The incident caused a state of panic and commotion among the locals.

According to reports, the deceased was Sumant Tiwari (alias Deepak Tiwari), the 29-year-old son of Dinanath Tiwari, a resident of Rajapur village under the Sonvarsha police station area of ​​Buxar district. He worked as a priest/ritual performer.

Speaking over the phone, the deceased's uncle, Vipin Tiwari, stated that on Friday, Sumant was traveling by motorcycle from his home to his in-laws' house in Barar village (under the Charpokhari police station area) to attend a wedding ceremony. While en route, near Charpokhari and Nagraon villages, a car rammed into his motorcycle.

He sustained severe injuries in the collision. Family members initially took him to Sadar Hospital and subsequently shifted him to PMCH for further treatment. He passed away there on Saturday morning. The local police arranged for a post-mortem examination of the body at PMCH.

The deceased was the eldest among two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Gudiya Devi, a son named Dugguji, and a daughter named Rupak. The incident has plunged the family into deep grief; his wife, Gudiya Devi, and other family members are inconsolable.
