BHABHUA------------------------A tragic accident in Kaimur district claimed the life of a businessman when his speeding car rammed into a parked truck. His family claims he was carrying 20-25 lakh rupees, but only 34,000 rupees were recovered.

In a heart-wrenching incident near Chhajju Ji Pokhra under Durgawati police station in Kaimur, a speeding car crashed into a stationary truck, killing the driver, Vikas Singh, on the spot. The deceased, a resident of Nati village under Sonhan police station, was a businessman. Police rushed him to Durgawati Primary Health Centre, where doctors declared him dead. His body was sent to Bhabhua for postmortem.

Family member Vivek Singh said, “Vikas was returning from Varanasi after settling accounts for his business, carrying 20-25 lakh rupees. His car smashed into a parked truck, and he died on the spot. Only 34,000 rupees were found on him.” The family raised concerns about the missing cash.

Mohania DSP Pradeep Kumar stated, “The car crashed into a parked truck, killing the driver. Locals alerted us, and we sent him to the hospital, but he was declared dead. We recovered 34,000 rupees, which was handed over to the family. If they have complaints about missing money, they can file an application at the police station, and we’ll take action.” The incident has left the family in shock, with the mystery of the missing money adding to their grief.
