BHABHUA-----------------------A voluntary blood donation camp was successfully organized on Tuesday at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Durgawati, under the 'Life Saver Army' campaign run by the Jainam Jeevika Foundation. The camp aimed to raise awareness about voluntary blood donation and ensure the availability of safe blood for patients in need.

The event was presided over by Medical Officer-in-Charge Dr. Sangeeta Sinha. Urging the youth and healthcare workers to join this noble cause, she stated, "Blood donation is a supreme act of charity, and a single unit of blood can give a new lease of life to someone in need."

During the camp, Manoj Mishra, Manish Kumar Pal, Dimpal Kumari, and Nitish Kumar, among others, encouraged the blood donors. A large number of youths, volunteers, and social activists enthusiastically donated blood, demonstrating a spirit of service to humanity.

Chandra Bhushan Singh, State Coordinator of the Jainam Jeevika Foundation, explained that the objective of the 'Life Saver Army' campaign is to build a robust network of voluntary blood donors across the country so that no patient's treatment is hampered due to a shortage of blood.

At the conclusion of the event, all blood donors were honored with certificates of appreciation. Gratitude was also expressed to the guests, Health Department officials and staff, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the program.
