4 YOUTHS DETAINED FOR TAKING INJECTIONS

BHABHUA---------------------------There was a stir in the Mohania bus stand complex of Kaimur district on Tuesday night when the police conducted a raid on the basis of secret information. During the action, four youths were detained for injecting drugs. During the search, two intoxicant injection vials were also recovered from them. The police have taken everyone to the police station for questioning and started investigating the case.

Actually, on the instructions of Kaimur Superintendent of Police, a special campaign against drugs is being run in the city. Under this campaign, policemen in plain clothes are doing special bike patrolling every day from 6 pm to 9 pm. Constant monitoring is being done in bus stands, intersections, public places and drug prone areas, so that drug trade and consumption can be effectively stopped.

On Tuesday night, the police received information that some youth were injecting drugs in the Mohania Interstate Bus Stand premises. As soon as the information was received, the special bike patrolling team reached the spot and took the four youths into custody from the spot. Police also recovered two vials of intoxicating injection from the spot, which have been confiscated.

Based on secret information, the police team took action in Mohania bus stand premises. Four youths have been detained from the spot. Two intoxicant injection vials have been recovered from them. Everyone is being interrogated. It is also being investigated from where the intoxicating injections were brought and who are the people behind it. “Further legal action is being taken in the matter.”

Police say that on the basis of initial inquiry, information about the entire network is being collected. The people through whom intoxicating injections are reaching the youth will be identified and action will be taken. The police is trying to reach the supply chain rather than limiting the case to just four youths.

In view of the increasing use of intoxicating injections and other drugs in recent times, Kaimur Police is continuously taking strict action. Through special patrolling and continuous raids, the police is trying to save the youth from the clutches of drugs and effectively curb the illegal drug trade.

At present, the police is thoroughly interrogating the four detained youths. Also, efforts are being made to find out from where the intoxicating injections were being supplied and what is the role of other people associated with this illegal business. Police say that action will continue on the basis of investigation.
