ARA-----------------------------The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bhojpur unit, organized a meeting at the district office regarding the Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad) by-election for the Arrah-Buxar constituency. The meeting was presided over by District President Durga Raj, conducted by District Vice President Er. Dhirendra Singh, and the vote of thanks was proposed by District In-charge Rajesh Sinha. State President Sanjay Saraogi attended the meeting as the Chief Guest. Upon his arrival in Arrah, the State President received a grand welcome from BJP workers, extending from Koilwar all the way to the BJP district office. The meeting commenced with floral tributes paid to the portraits of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, followed by the singing of 'Vande Mataram' and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. District President Durga Raj honored the State President by presenting him with an *Angavastra* (traditional stole), a floral garland, and a memento. Those seated on the dais—including State General Secretary Rajesh Verma; Regional In-charge and State Vice President Siddharth Shambhu; Arrah MLA and outgoing Minister Sanjay Singh 'Tiger'; Barhara MLA and former Minister Raghavendra Pratap Singh; Agiaon MLA Mahesh Paswan; Sandesh MLA Radhacharan Sah; Shahpur MLA Rakesh Ojha; NDA candidate for the Arrah-Buxar Legislative Council by-election Kanhaiya Kumar; Arrah Municipal Corporation Mayor Indu Devi; former MP Meena Singh; former MLAs Amarendra Pratap Singh and Sunil Pandey; Regional Co-in-charge Ashok Bhatt; South Bihar Regional Co-in-charge Mithilesh Kushwaha; NaMo App State Convener Ritesh Ranjan; District In-charge Rajesh Sinha; former District President Prem Ranjan Chaturvedi; and BJP leader Kaushal Vidyarthi—were also honored with *Angavastras* and floral garlands. Addressing the gathering, State President Sanjay Sarawagi infused the assembled members of the State Executive Committee, district office-bearers, heads of various fronts and cells, Assembly in-charges, conveners, *Mandal* presidents, general secretaries, *Mandal* in-charges, and active party workers with enthusiasm to ensure victory in the Ara-Buxar Assembly by-election. He remarked that this marks the first election in Bihar since Samrat Chaudhary assumed the office of Chief Minister. He asserted that Bihar would now advance from good governance towards prosperity. Recalling how NDA workers had previously swept the opposition aside by securing victory in all seven Assembly seats in Bhojpur district, he stated that, in the same vein, NDA workers—including those from the BJP—would now work to ensure the victory of the NDA-backed candidate, Kanhaiya Kumar Saw, in the Legislative Council by-election, thereby once again sweeping the opposition aside. He appealed to all workers and office-bearers to mobilize support in favor of the NDA candidate, expressing confidence that this time, the NDA candidate would secure victory by an even larger margin than in the previous election. Addressing the program, the NDA candidate for the Ara-Buxar constituency, Kanhaiya Kumar Saw, sought the blessings of all the leaders seated on the dais and appealed to the assembled workers to ensure his victory. During the meeting, BJP State General Secretary and Regional In-charge, Rajesh Verma, emphasized the importance of strengthening the party organization. He outlined a strategic plan involving *Mandal*-level meetings during the first week of every month, district-level meetings in the second week, Panchayat-level meetings in the third week, and the observance of the Prime Minister's 'Mann Ki Baat' program alongside booth-level meetings during the final week. Prior to the main gathering, a meeting of the Core Committee was held under the leadership of BJP State President Sanjay Sarawagi. During this meeting, the State President appointed *Prabharis* (in-charges) for all fourteen blocks of Bhojpur district in preparation for the Ara-Buxar Assembly by-election.
