BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED A DRUG PEDDLER WITHH 96.75 KG OF GANAJA

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, intercepted a Pick-Up van near Bampali under Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur district and seized 96.75 kilo grams of ganaj and also arrested a drug peddler. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Rakesh Kumar Singh son of Ganesh Singh of Bhimpura village under Aziambad police station in Bhojpur district. Police also seized the Pick-Up van. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police outpost against the drug peddler under the NFPS Act and the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that the police got information that a big consignment of ganja was being smuggled on a Pick-Up van on Ara-Buxar National Highway. The police at once swung into action and arrested the drug peddler near Bampali under Gajrajganj police outpost and when searched, the police recovered 96.75 kilo grams of ganja from the van.

The SP said that the drug peddler had come to Ara on a travel Bus with the ganja from Jharkhand. At Ara he loaded the ganja on Pick-Up van in between Zero Mile and Dhobighatawa locality under Ara Nawada police station and he was going to Dhamar.
