BHABHUA-------------------------To enhance the quality of child development services within the district, Deputy Development Commissioner Divya Shakti is conducting a weekly review of all Anganwadi centers. As part of this initiative, centers demonstrating outstanding performance are being encouraged by being designated as the 'Anganwadi Center of the Week.' Based on performance metrics from April 20 to April 25, the Nuawan-2 Anganwadi Center (Code-22) in the Durgavati block has received this distinction. Today, the District Program Officer (ICDS), Kaimur, distributed the certificates of appreciation—issued by the Deputy Development Commissioner—to the center's Anganwadi Worker, Indravati Devi, and Helper, Manju Devi.

Both women were honored during a ceremony held at the Durgavati Block premises, attended by the Child Development Project Officer, Block Development Officer, MGNREGA Officer, staff members, and other Anganwadi workers. The District Program Officer remarked that such initiatives would boost the morale of Anganwadi workers and lend fresh momentum to the development of children.
