69^TH INDUCTION CEREMONY OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF ARA HELD

ARA---------------------------The 69th induction ceremony of the Rotary Club of Ara was held amidst an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm at the Red Cross Society auditorium. The event was graced by the special presence of Rotary International District 3250 Governor Rotarian Anu Narang, Past District Governor Rotarian Sandeep Narang, and Assistant Governor Rotarian P.N. Chaubey. The program commenced with the National Anthem and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address for the guests delivered by Rotarian Dr. Jivesh Kumar. Outgoing President Manjit Anand presented a report on the activities undertaken during the previous year and presented gifts to all his colleagues. Rotarian Awadhesh Pandey introduced Assistant District Governor P.N. Chaubey and elaborated on the proceedings.

The District Governor formally inducted the new President, Krishna Madhav Agrawal, by investing him with the presidential collar. Subsequently, the new session's Secretary, Abhishek Kumar, and Treasurer, Vikas Kumar, were also felicitated. The program was conducted by Pankaj Prabhakar, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Abhishek Kumar Singh (alias Bablu Ji).

In her address, District Governor Anu Narang encouraged the new Rotary members and extended her best wishes and congratulations to everyone for joining Rotary International. She emphasized that this ceremony marked not merely the assumption of office, but the acceptance of a responsibility regarding ideas and action. She urged the members to prioritize significant initiatives serving the public interest over smaller tasks; such major endeavors would not only provide personal satisfaction and benefit the community but also be remembered for a lifetime. She also appealed for active participation and cooperation in all Rotary-organized events.

Incumbent President Krishna Madhav Agrawal expressed his gratitude and greetings to all, appealing for their support and participation in making the club's planned activities historic; he affirmed that the Rotary Club of Ara would undoubtedly demonstrate excellence through its work. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Dr. S.M. Isha, Dr. S.K. Kedia, Dr. B.K. Prasad, Sanjeev Gupta, Akhileshwar Prasad, Shreyansh Jain, Dr. Archana Singh, Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, Manoj Kumar Singh, Om Prakash Singh, Dr. Manish, R.P. Pathak, Dilip Kumar Singh, Arvind Singh, and Ramkumar Singh, alongside the gracious presence of Mridul-ji, Meenakshi Jain-ji, Savita Prasad-ji, and Rameshwar Prasad-ji.
