As part of this ongoing effort, the Kudra Police conducted a special drive and arrested 10 individuals on charges of consuming alcohol. BHABHUA------------------------The Kaimur Police are continuously taking action to effectively enforce the liquor prohibition laws in Bihar. As part of this ongoing effort, the Kudra Police conducted a special drive and arrested 10 individuals on charges of consuming alcohol. After medical examinations confirmed alcohol consumption, legal action was taken against all the accused under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
According to the police, suspicious individuals were screened during a special drive conducted across various locations within the Kudra police station area. A total of ten people found to be under the influence of alcohol were taken into custody. Following their detention, all the accused were first tested using a breath analyzer and subsequently sent for medical examinations. Once the medical reports confirmed alcohol consumption, cases were registered against all of them under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The police stated that all the arrested individuals have been processed for judicial proceedings after the completion of necessary legal formalities. Officials emphasized that no leniency will be shown towards violators of the prohibition law, and strict action against offenders will continue.
The Kudra police have also appealed to the public to abide by the prohibition law and to immediately inform the police about any activities related to the manufacture, sale, smuggling, or consumption of alcohol. The identity of the informant will be kept strictly confidential.
Police officials stated that the prohibition law in Kaimur district. Regular vehicle checks, raids on suspicious locations, and special drives are being conducted to enforce compliance. Continuous action will be taken against those involved in the consumption, sale, manufacture, or smuggling of alcohol. Lawbreakers will not be spared under any circumstances.
Kaimur Police have clarified that, alongside crime control, the strict enforcement of the liquor ban law is a top priority in the district. With this objective, special drives will continue to be conducted across police station areas to take stern action against the illegal liquor trade and those consuming alcohol.
