PATNA--------------------------RJD leader and Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav visited Darbhanga and met the families of murder victims. Speaking to the media afterward, he launched a fierce attack on the Bihar government regarding the state's law and order situation. Tejashwi Yadav described the law and order situation in Bihar as "criminal disorder" due to rising crime and questioned the functioning of the police. He also targeted the government over statements made by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Minister Madan Sahni. Additionally, Tejashwi Yadav took aim at the central government, raising the issue of China's alleged encroachment in Arunachal Pradesh. Watch Tejashwi Yadav's full statement and get the complete details of this major political story from Darbhanga.

RJD leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, has launched a simultaneous,

major attack on the Modi government at the Centre and the Samrat Choudhary government in Bihar. Upon arriving in Darbhanga, Tejashwi Yadav met the families of Faiz Ahmed Khan—who was beaten to death—and gold merchant Rahul Kumar Shah.

He listened to the families' anguish and assured them of justice and the swift arrest of the perpetrators. However, after meeting

the victims' families, when Tejashwi Yadav appeared before the media, his demeanor was extremely aggressive. Law and order

has turned into criminal disorder. What can one say?

Samrat Choudhary himself is a person with a criminal image; a murder case is pending against him.

So, what can be expected? [Laughter] With the crime rate rising in Bihar, there isn't

a single day when 200 rounds of gunfire are not fired in the state. Tejashwi Yadav, questioning the law and order situation,

stated that law and order in Bihar has transformed into "criminal order." He claimed that not a single day passes

in Bihar without 200 rounds of gunfire being fired. Tejashwi remarked that Bihar's newspapers have turned red with reports of crimes.

Furthermore, Tejashwi Yadav raised serious questions about the functioning of the police.

He alleged that the police are committing murders—sometimes on the streets and sometimes inside jails. Targeting Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Tejashwi raised the issue of alleged criminal cases pending against him. Meanwhile,

Tejashwi Yadav also attacked the government over Minister Mad Sahni questioning the functioning of the police. He

stated that when a minister within the government itself questions the police's working style, the government ought to provide an answer.

Committing murder inside the jail... beating someone to death after calling them aside...

It happened at Gaighat. A policeman, dead drunk, opened fire on an ordinary citizen.

Just now, coming from where I was, a murder took place inside the jail.

Where isn't this happening? People are distressed by heinous crimes like rape. Gunshots are being fired in broad daylight.

Government ministers are speaking out.

People within the government are exposing their own shortcomings. So, what is the point of making them ministers?

The minister's words are not being heeded. Why is there an inquiry? The minister should name names—who is the culprit? Who is taking bribes? Action should be taken against them. Nothing will be achieved by sitting around idly; action is what is needed.

There is no control over crime here. Instead of the politics surrounding 'Vande Mataram'—look at the politics being played over 'Vande Mataram' and how the BJP engages in divisive politics. What is the state of the country?

Attention should be paid to that. People are suffering due to unemployment, inflation, and poverty. Exam papers are being leaked. Everyone remains silent. In Bihar, AK-47s are being fired at students. Everyone remains silent. A massive scam has taken place.

There is no accounting for ₹71,000 crore. Everyone remains silent.

All the agencies are under their control. They are misusing them and reaping the benefits, while the public suffers. The public is dying; there is outrage.

You will see that there is immense public outrage against the BJP.

There is anger. Tell me, when is China encroaching upon and seizing territory in Arunachal Pradesh? No one is talking about that.

Amidst concerns regarding law and order in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav has also targeted the central government. Raising the issue of China's alleged occupation of land in Arunachal Pradesh, he leveled serious allegations against the Centre. Tejashwi asserts that China is occupying Indian territory, yet the central government remains silent on the matter. He also accused the BJP of engaging in divisive politics. Tejashwi Yadav—who visited Darbhanga to meet the families of victims of two separate murder incidents—thus took a stand on four fronts: crime, police functioning, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, and the central government regarding the China issue.

It remains to be seen how the Bihar government and the central government will respond to these sharp allegations made by Tejashwi Yadav.
