SASARAM-----------------------In connection with the murder of a student in Kachhwan on October 9, the police have arrested Priyanshu Kumar (a resident of Chandi village, under the local police station jurisdiction), Ragini Kumari (from Jagu Tola), and Satish Kumar (from Agini village, under the Nasriganj police station), along with two minors. Similarly, in the case of the murder of Janardan Tiwari in Dumra village (under the Kargahar police station) on October 19, the police have arrested Omprakash Sharma, Shambhu Sharma, and Guddu Sharma—all residents of Dumra village—and sent them to jail. This is considered a major success for the Rohtas Police, as they have successfully solved the murder case and put the actual perpetrators behind bars. The Superintendent of Police has emphasized that no criminal will be able to escape the police's reach, regardless of how influential they may be.
