ARA--------------------------A teenager riding a motorcycle sustained a gunshot wound under suspicious circumstances on Thursday afternoon within the limits of the city's Town Police Station area. The injured teenager sustained a gunshot wound near the left side of his waist, leaving him critically injured. He was initially taken to Sadar Hospital but was subsequently shifted to Medicon Hospital in the Mahavir Tola area of the city. There, the bullet was extracted during surgery following initial treatment. He has since been referred to Patna for advanced medical care.
According to reports, the injured teenager is Aman Singh (16), son of Manjar Singh, a resident of Saraiya village under the Krishnagar police station area. He currently resides in a rented house in the Ahirpurwa neighborhood under the Town police station area.
In this regard, Sadar SDPO-1 Rajkumar Sah stated that Ankit Prashant Pathak, a friend of the injured Aman Singh, claimed he had gone to drop Aman off in the Tari neighborhood. Ankit stated he was unaware of how Aman sustained the gunshot wound while returning. Aman's elder brother reported the incident. The case appears suspicious; however, the police are conducting their own investigation.
