GAJRAJGANJ OP-IN-CHARGE LINE CLOSED
An accused in a murder case secured bail due to negligence by the police at the Gajrajganj Outpost (OP) in Bhojpur district. The accused benefited because the Investigating Officer (IO) failed to file the charge sheet on time. Taking a serious view of the matter, Superintendent of Police Raj has ordered that Chanchal Kumar Mahtha—who served as both the Gajrajganj OP In-charge and the IO for the case—be 'line closed' (recalled to police lines).

ARA---------------------------An accused in a murder case secured bail due to negligence by the police at the Gajrajganj Outpost (OP) in Bhojpur district.
It is worth noting that Rajesh Kumar, a 'Dial 112' driver posted in Supaul, had visited his village on leave last May. He left home in his car on May 4 and never returned. Subsequently, on May 12, his father, Tej Narayan Yadav, lodged an FIR regarding his disappearance at the Gajrajganj OP. The investigation later revealed that he had been murdered.
